Writing a Thesis Using the APA Writing Style
Writing a thesis is the last examination for many college students, the lecturer or the professor always ask the students to write the thesis using the APA 6th edition style. The reason why the lecturer always told the students or researchers to use the APA writing style is that this style appropriate with the legal resume or research paper that already accepted in the world. To make a paper using the APA style, students must follow these steps. First of all, the title must be written in uppercase or all must be capitalized, with Times New Roman font, and also with 12 as the font size.
The APA style format also used in the abstract, actually not all lecturers or professors ask their students or researchers to make an abstract, but it will be better if there is an abstract on the thesis to make the reader understand and read easily. In the abstract, they must run the title with page number and they should not include the words running head after the title page. The writers must give a note to the abstract because in this section there must be double-spaced using Times New Roman font with size 12. Don’t indent the abstract or at the summary paragraph.
